The Berks Alliance monthly Community Forum program returns with a timely discussion of the United Way ALICE Project. An acronym for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed, ALICE focuses on the challenges facing families who are just above the poverty level. Living on the margins of the economy, these workers have been affected by the Covid epidemic. United Ways across the country, including our United Way here is Berks County, have drawn attention to the needs of this population and what can be done to support them.
